The Annual NBIA Conference—as usual—was well attended by participants from all around the globe. This time the conference again hosted a World Summit of the associations of business and innovation centers as well as science and technology parks. This bi-annual event at the same time served as a SPICE meeting. Preparation works for the new edition of the SPICA Directory were launched at this event by SPICE members Dinah Adkins, host of the conference and meetings and Christian Herrmann. This publication will keep the network busy for a while. Since publication of the first edition almost four years have passed and much has changed in the field of innovation centers.
