Beethoven and SPICE Art Ball - 3rd SPICE Picnic and 150th SPICE Meeting

The Third SPICE Picnic & Open Air Concert (SPOAC) in Budapest was a truly informative and enjoyable event. The workshop gave opportunity to update on actual developments in business incubation (and related areas) as well as regarding the personal activities of members and invited participants. It has been an excellent opportunity for strengthening personal links and making new friends. Like at a SPICE Meeting ten years earlier the accommodation was hotel Villa Korda located on the hills of the Buda side of river Duna overlooking the city and providing the needed facilities for the SPICE Workshop. This environment contributed much to the relaxed and open atmosphere for the fruitful roundtable talks that generated much input for the informal talks and discussions at the open air SPICE Dinner after the workshop hosted by Aniko Soltesz with barbecue accompanied by Hungarian beer and wine. These conversations continued following day during the picnic in the beautiful park of the Brunswick Palace in Martonvársár where the SPICE Art Ball was presented.
Finally, the pleasure of enjoying Beethoven’s music under the trees on the island in the lake of the Brunswick Palace Park is an experience to remember.
